The presence of specimens of violin spiders in the nursery school in Via Garibaldi led to an order from the Municipality requiring the closure of the institute for a few days. It will reopen tomorrow after the disinfestation carried out by the insect control service of the metropolitan city of Cagliari. The alarm was triggered on February 9th when school staff identified the presence of the spider near the toilets.

It has a yellowish-brown color with long legs. The violin spider can reach dimensions of 7 millimeters (male body) and 9 millimeters (female body).
