The investigations by the Sanluri traffic police were completed during the night after the accident on the old Sardinian Orientale, at the seventeenth kilometer in the Maracalagonis territory.

Two people were injured: a man and a woman. The first was accompanied to the Brotzu in code red, the woman was instead taken to the Monserrato Polyclinic. The two were traveling in a car that suddenly skidded and overturned.

The two occupants were rescued by health workers and accompanied to the two hospitals, where they were hospitalized. The firefighters were also on site and removed the car during the night, allowing traffic to resume normally.

No information has been released regarding the causes and dynamics of the accident. It seems certain that no other vehicles were involved.
