A serious accident occurred shortly before midnight in Maracalagonis: the car carrying two men in their thirties ended up in a five-meter-deep hole in a roadworks. The two were transported with critical conditions to the Santissima Trinità and Policlinico hospitals.

The vehicle was traveling along the SP15 toward the 125 and continued on, knocking down the fences surrounding the construction site. The ditch, dug for a cable, was located there. The car became trapped inside.

The intervention of the firefighters was necessary to recover the two injured people, who entrusted them to the care of the 118 operators.
