Man drowns in Palau waters: rescue efforts useless, swimmers had brought him back to shore

Tragedy in the waters of Palau. A 62-year-old man drowned, the victim is a Dutch tourist.

The man was taken out of the water by some swimmers, then a doctor intervened with the AED (Defibrillator) present on the beach. But unfortunately there was nothing that could be done.

Upon arrival of the emergency helicopter, the 118 medical team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation but later had to confirm the death.
