Difficult times for live shows in Sardinia , grappling with the problems – increasingly serious – linked to regional funding. The funds are late , « as has never happened for years , both in the examination of the applications and in the related assignments of contributions for the activities to be carried out by 2023, and in the preliminary investigation of the final balances and in the disbursement of the balances of the contributions for 2022". This was reported by CUSS , the Unitary Coordination of Live Entertainment in Sardinia which brings together 84 of the most representative production companies, dance, music and theater events and festivals financed by the Region through "article 56". The request is clear: meet the regional councilor for Education and Entertainment Andrea Biancareddu , to find solutions together to avoid paralysis of the sector.

«The current problems – we read in the press release – make the survival of one of the crucial sectors for the diffusion of scenic art in Sardinia increasingly difficult , which has always guaranteed social and cultural stability and balance, offering live entertainment to all audiences of all ages, and in all its forms, from tradition to innovation, creating a widespread cultural comparison throughout the entire region, from large to small towns. A sector, let's not forget, which over time has also become an important driver of both direct and induced economies. The establishment of CUSS testifies to the desire to work together in order to continue to grow live entertainment in Sardinia, together with its audience and its public and private partners".

The CUSS was formally established in Oristano on 28 September. Marco Benoni was unanimously elected president, vice presidents Monica Pistidda and Vincenzo De Rosa and Alessandro Lay, Elena Ledda, Luca Parodi and Letizia Tedde as members of the Board of Directors. Chiara Murru has been appointed as head of the secretariat for the Board of Directors. To complete the larger Representative Council, Maria Assunta Calvisi, Giovanni Carroni, Tonino Cau, Stefano Chessa, Enzo Favata, Giulio Landis, Stefano Ledda,
