Adoption remains a great act of love but brings with it a series of situations that you are not always prepared to face. To talk about this and other important issues, on 5 November at 2 pm at the Mediateca del Mediterraneo in Cagliari, a meeting open to professionals dealing with adoption is scheduled.

“The preparation and accompaniment of families - explain the organizers - are a fundamental basis for a robust and conscious adoption process. Given the particular conformity of the region, the great distances that separate the cities and the various municipalities, the various possibilities for updates on a real theme on such a delicate issue, it was decided to give the technicians the opportunity to deepen the issue with the experts. of matter ". Among others, the presidents of the two Juvenile Courts, the Social Services of the Municipality of Cagliari, psychologists who are experts in the subject and the SOS Child IA Agency will participate, who will discuss the issue of adoption starting from the couple's study, passing through the decree of suitability up to the "driving license" which is presented in various foreign countries.

SOS Bambino IA has been dealing with adoptions and international cooperation for years: over 70 families have adopted in the various states with which the institution collaborates: from Sardinia to Colombia, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Haiti.

The island, according to experts, remains a territory of great welcome for children from foreign countries "certainly thanks to the strong social network present in the Sardinian territory as well as the strong value of the family and sensitivity to different cultures".
