The last remnants of winter are felt in Sardinia with the thermometer starting to go down. This is confirmed by the weather office of the Decimomannu Air Force.

"At the moment, a cavity of Atlantic origin is causing bad weather and is the prelude to the formation of a depression - explain the experts - The bad weather will continue at least until Sunday".

In particular today the southern winds responsible for the rise in temperatures of these days, up to 19-20 degrees, will be swept away by the arrival of the mistral which will blow with peaks of 40 kilometers per hour.

The entry of the wind will lead to a drastic lowering of the thermometer, which may drop by 10 degrees between Saturday and Sunday, when the cold peaks will be registered. The lows in some inland areas will also go below zero with possible snowfalls between 900 and 1,000 meters in Fonni - where the white flakes had greeted the first day of spring - and on Mount Limbara. Snowfall is linked to the rains that will not fail.

"The sky will be covered every day until the early hours of Sunday - Air Force meteorologists announce - with probable showers, even if the cumulative values should not exceed 10 millimeters in six hours".

From Sunday afternoon the weather will improve, but it will only be a temporary respite. New disturbances are coming next week.
