Baunei: Two motorcycles collide on the Orientale Highway, leaving one dead and one seriously injured.
The crash occurred this morning after 9.30am near a bend in the road. The men involved were both 63 years old.

Road tragedy in Baunei . Shortly after 9:30 a.m. today, two motorcycles collided at kilometer 159 of the Orientale .
A 63-year-old German motorcyclist died after a violent impact near a curve . The other rider, a compatriot of his age, who was riding the other motorcycle, is in serious condition .
The man was transported aboard the Echo Lima 3 helicopter to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari. The Lanusei traffic police crew, led by Inspector Fausto Loddo, volunteers from the Baunei White Cross, and the Tortolì firefighters were on site.
