Some rifle shots were fired at the Forestas headquarters , where threatening writings also appeared against the director of the Agency's territorial service, Michele Puxeddu .

After the incident, the local prosecutor opened a file and investigated the police.

Solidarity with Forestas and Puxeddu was expressed by the president of the Region, Christian Solinas : "No hesitation on the part of the regional administration in the firm condemnation of these vile gestures, unworthy of a civil community ", said the governor. Adding: "The violence and the threats will not stop the action and courage of the men who represent the Institutions ".
