There have been 28 rescue interventions managed in the last 24 hours by the firefighters of the Oristano command for various types of operations mainly linked to the wave of bad weather that affected the province.

Among the most significant, four landslides were recorded in Cuglieri, Santu Lussurgiu and Bonarcado. In the first case, the team from the Cuglieri detachment, in agreement with the municipal technical structures, deemed it necessary to ban traffic on the local Via degli Ulivi; in the second case the team from the Abbasanta detachment, in agreement with the province and the technical office of Santu Lussurgiu, opted to limit the circulation of vehicles along provincial road 15.

Four road accidents between Cuglieri, Oristano and Siamanna.

At 9am this morning at km 100 of state road 292 a small car went off the road and ended up overturned on the shoulder. The team from the Cuglieri detachment intervened on site and secured the car and handed over the driver and three passengers to the care of 118 healthcare personnel.

In the afternoon at 4pm collision between two cars on provincial road 35 in Siamanna. The firefighters of the Oristano power station extracted one of the drivers from the wreckage and then left him in the care of the rescuers. The Carabinieri were also present on site as far as they were concerned.

Intense work also for the teams from Abbasanta, involved in a gas leak in Tadasuni and in various interventions for unsafe branches and poles between the municipalities of Ghilarza, Paulilatino and Santu Lussurgiu, and from Ales which had to deal with various interventions between Mogoro and Ales.

On this day of intense operational activities, the Oristano firefighters did not neglect to remember Luca Pinna , the volunteer firefighter who tragically died on duty 12 years ago. A moment of reflection was held in his memory.
