He had landed at the port of Olbia with a kilo of cocaine: arrested by the financial police of the Olbia Group on charges of drug trafficking, during the unloading operations of the motor vessels arriving from the ports of Civitavecchia and Livorno.
The drug courier, resident in Rome, was driving a vehicle that had just arrived at Porto Isola Bianca : the military noticed a certain suspicious behavior and carried out further checks with drug-sniffing dogs.
Whose nose caught, inside a travel backpack, a block of cellophane and packing tape containing over a kilo of cocaine.
The man was arrested and taken to prison in Nuchis, at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Tempio Pausania.
"Overall - the Guardia di Finanza reports - almost 100 kg of drugs were seized (including cocaine, heroin and marijuana) and 9 couriers were arrested, demonstrating the commitment shown in the repression of drug trafficking".
