In the last outing, that of last Saturday, the volunteers of " An archipelago without plastic ", a group that for years has been engaged in collecting waste , left by man and brought by the sea (but always produced by man) in the islands of National Park, they concentrated their intervention on the island of Maddalena alone, collecting 3 tons of rubbish in a few hours.

Marshes, Tegge, Colmi, Sasso Rosso, Guardia del Turco, Spalmatore, Costone, Spiaggia del Morto, Bassa Trinita, Isuleddu and Ricciolina were the areas affected. «In some cases – the organizers say – glass bottles were always found in the same places, evidently the numerous reports were of no use (Camp Delfino area)». The rest of the "loot" also included a motorbike, a dinghy, a large iron beam covered in plastic on the rocks, enormous pipes, bicycles, an iron tank, several car batteries, glass, lots of plastic, iron pipes and other items.

«Another important detail – the volunteers point out – is that many bags of all types of waste were found right where the campers regularly stayed». A situation, they confirm, that «gets worse day by day; yet in some areas a camera would be enough." The Park Authority and La Maddalena Ambiente collaborated for last Saturday's interventions.
