An attack has blocked data centers in Milan and Rome since December 8; still, 13 December, 8 am, the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, following this attack, suffered by the Italian provider WestPole, is indirectly involved as some of the applications managed by this service provider have been affected.
WestPole provides the Urbi service, a native web management information system for the PA (local, regional, central; local public companies and area plans) that responds to the digitalisation needs imposed by the Digital Agenda. The PA Digitale management information system, also used by the National Park, is therefore inaccessible, causing interruptions in services to the Public Administrations.
The organization in via Giulio Cesare «expresses regret for the disservice, independent of its will and beyond its control, invites users to pay attention to suspicious communications and to report anomalies in the use of our services, in the hope that the systems be restored as soon as possible."
