La Maddalena, stop bomb exercises in the protected marine area
The ordinance of the Port Authority which authorized military activities with explosions has been repealed. The Park: «They wanted to do them in a site of community interest»

Everything postponed to a later date (way and place): no bomb explosions, for now, in the waters of the La Maddalena archipelago. The Port Authority has repealed the ordinance issued last February 15th to allow explosives exercises by the Comsubin bomb squad in complete safety from February 20th to March 8th.
The Coast Guard provision provided for prohibitions on approaching two specific points, where military activities would be held, for a radius of one kilometre.

The explosives exercise in the waters of the Archipelago-Park had raised more than a few doubts. Starting from the La Maddalena National Park. As director Giulio Plastina states: «When we realized that one of the two points of military training fell within the Sic (Sites of Community Importance) area , we took action and represented to the competent authorities the fact that this fell right within the perimeter of a special conservation area established in January 2022 by the Ministry of the Environment".
