La Maddalena, crushed by a granite boulder: the firefighters arrive
The victim was airlifted to hospital, the cause of the accident is under investigation
Intervention by the Fire Brigade of La Maddalena, in Abbatoggia, for a person who was crushed by a granite boulder for reasons under investigation.
The operators together with the health personnel freed the victim, who was then transported by helicopter to the hospital.
The surgery lasted about two hours.
The Carabinieri, the Port Authority and the 118 with helicopter rescue are also present on site.
