Eighty items, mainly beach toys and diving masks , were seized in La Maddalena by the officials of the Customs Agency and by the local police because they were out of the norm.

They all lacked identification labels and warnings in Italian, had a non-compliant CE mark, and violated the safety regulations for products intended for children.

An administrative seizure was therefore ordered with a penalty ranging from a minimum of 1,500 euros to a maximum of 10,000 , for having placed on the market on the national territory toys that do not comply with safety standards and bear false or mendacious signs.
