The Region confirms the " kindergarten bonus ", the measure created to favor families in reconciling work-life through a contribution to reduce the fee for attendance at public or private nursery schools and micronurses .

The Giunta Solinas, with a resolution approved on the proposal of the regional councilor for Hygiene and Health and Social Assistance, Carlo Doria, confirmed the guidelines in force on nursery schools also for the current year and established the methods for allocating the resources among the municipalities of the island: 5.5 million euros allocated in the latest stability law for the three-year period 2023-2025 .

«The bonus – declares the President of the Region, Christian Solinas – does not aim exclusively to provide economic aid as an end in itself. With the birth of a child too often one of the parents, especially the mother, finds himself forced to give up work, or the possibility of looking for one, faced with the difficulty of reconciling family and work also due to the costs for access to early childhood services. This measure, which we continue to pursue vigorously, goes precisely in the direction of supporting Sardinian families, with at least one child between zero and three years of age, in a particularly delicate phase of their lives".

«We are talking about an important contribution for families – explains Doria -. Sardinia is one of the regions with the lowest birth rate in Italy. In this context, putting in place adequate welfare measures that give support to parenthood is essential».

The bonus is managed by the Municipalities, to which families, with an ISEE of up to 40 thousand euros , must apply for the disbursement of amounts up to 200 euros per month for each dependent child .

The contribution of the Region can be combined with the national INPS "Nest Bonus" measure.
