Killed in Luras, Davide Unida's organs donated: life expectancy from a violent death
The thirty-six-year-old had given his consent to the explant: his heart can revive a Tuscan heart patient
Davide Unida had given his consent to the donation and now his organs are the hope of healing and life for several people. The doctors of the Resuscitation Department of the civil hospital of Sassari began the procedure for the removal immediately after the death of the Lurese worker (who died from the devastating blows to the head suffered during an assault).
Several patients from the Peninsula received David's organs (heart, kidneys, liver and a cornea). In particular, Davide's heart started beating again and gave hope back to a heart patient from Tuscany who was in very serious condition.
The Prosecutor of Tempio has given the green light to the procedure, evaluating it compatible with the needs of justice, i.e. with the autopsy that will be carried out in the next few hours.
