June begins with the sun: full beaches on Quartu and Sarrabus

First day and first Sunday of June. The holiday season has exploded under a sun and a summer heat just mitigated by a light breeze. Lots of people on the Quartu coast and lots of bathers in Torre delle Stelle, on the beaches of Genn'e Mari and Cannesisa.

Inside the tourist village, work is underway to renovate the central Via Sagittario. Work that also involves some other stretches of road. In the meantime, bathers are enjoying their first real day at the beach in view of a season that, experts say, promises well. Crowds and first tourists also on the coast of Villasimius, Castiadas and Muravera, in Costa Rei in particular.
