During Sunday's hunting trip, Rocky and Bobo, the two dogs of Fabio Mura from Jerzu, accidentally slipped off a cliff on the Tacchi di Ulassai.

Yesterday morning there was a happy ending for the animals saved by the Lanusei firefighters. At the end of the hunt, the owner, after calling his dogs and not seeing them arrive , located them with his handheld device seven hundred meters away in the middle of the woods. Mura thought they were tired and decided to pick them up the following morning at first light.

In fact, Fabio Mura returned to the site on Monday. After the searches, the hunter noticed that the poor animals had ended up in a ravine eight meters high, stuck on a rock outcrop a few steps from a seventy-metre chasm. Mura, unable to recover them on his own, went back and alerted the emergency services.

«I called the firefighters, only they could save them», he said, «they arrived in less than half an hour and they were very good, thanks to them I have my dogs again». A night in the cold for Rocky and Bobo who are now well and are cared for lovingly. Tired but together with their owner again.
