Three thousand devotees on foot, 20 tracas with 270 costumes on board, 66 Municipalities represented, 56 militiamen, 170 devotees on horseback, 2000 seats in the stands, 60 launeddas players, 5 polyphonic choirs, 77 folk associations. And a crowd of tens of thousands of spectators. These are the numbers of the feast of Sant'Efisio number 367, staged today in Cagliari.

Starting at 8, all phases will be live on Videolina, on the Unionesarda.it website and the news will also be on air on Radiolina.

At 10 the departure of the tracas (this year there are 20), a genuine expression of feelings of affection and gratitude towards the "powerful protector". Following, in the exciting sequence of the procession, the faithful on foot with clothes that express a sense of belonging and identity: three thousand people arriving from all over Sardinia.

At 11 the mass of the Alter Nos, Roberto Mura, who, after having received the official investiture from the mayor at Palazzo Bacaredda, reaches the small church of Stampace, the heart of the Ephysian cult (in the crypt masses are scheduled every hour starting from 7 and until 10).

At 12 the Saint in the gala chariot, pulled by oxen "No d'acquistasa" and "Chi sighisi aicci", made available by the Satta family of Domusnovas, leaves his "home" to receive the warm greetings of the faithful. He is accompanied by the Guardiania, the representative of the municipality, sisters and brothers of the Archconfraternity of the Gonfalone. The procession, also animated by militiamen (56) and devotees on horseback (170), crosses via Azuni, piazza Yenne, corso Vittorio Emanuele, via Sassari, piazza del Carmine, via Crispi, via Angioy and via Mameli, via Carlo Felice, via Roma (city side), via Sassari (lower part) viale La Playa, before the stage in Giorgino. It is the journey to the place of martyrdom, in Nora.

On the special anniversary of the 80th anniversary of the devastating Anglo-American bombings, the mayors of 81 Municipalities parade in procession who welcomed the citizens of Cagliari forced, in that tragic 1943, to leave the city. The procession will start from Piazza Yenne: a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the thoughtful hospitality in difficult times.
