The emergency room at the San Giuseppe Calasanzio hospital in Isili will remain closed all day today. This resurfaces concerns about the functioning of an already severely impacted service.

"Organizational problems," reads the company's communication, which arrived on the desk of Isili Mayor Luca Pilia at 9:00 this morning. There is a shortage of medical staff to ensure the facility is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There are fears for the rest of the season: between holidays and staff shortages, things could be halting, as has happened on other occasions.
