“Io canto generation”, Andrea Urru does not win but enchants the audience with “Sweet child of mine”
Lots of applause and lots of compliments for the boy who reached the final of the talent show and who will perform in his native Oristano tomorrow
Smiling, as always. Even when he realized that he didn't have to lift the "Io canto Generation" trophy. Last night Andrea Urru did not win the talent show hosted by Gerry Scotti on Canale 5 .
But he left his mark: on TV, in his Oristano, in his Sardinia. During the final, twelve competitors competed against each other. The young man from Oristano also tried in every way to win the hearts of the jury made up of Al Bano, Orietta Berti, Michelle Hunziker and Claudio Amendola and a representation of one hundred members of the studio audience. In the end, after many emotions and applause for the young artists , Marta Viola was awarded a "Summer School Academy" of singing, cinema and musical filmmaking at the headquarters of the New York Film Academy in Florence.
Andrea, very elegant on stage in a gray suit, enchanted his audience with Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses . Three minutes of pure entertainment. Urru, who was part of Fausto Leali's team, was at ease, after all rock is "his" music . A very respectable mini showman who managed to get to the final, obtaining, episode after episode, an avalanche of compliments and always very high ratings.
But it doesn't end there. Andrea, who attends the third year of middle school at the Eleonora d'Arborea Institute in Oristano, will perform in his city tomorrow, in Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea, starting at 7pm . On Sunday 31 December the young singer will be a guest on the "Sala rehearsal" program broadcast on the radio at 8pm, hosted by Ruido. On January 1st the episode will be broadcast on Videolina at 10.30 pm.
