The prosecutors Alessandro Gallo and Valentina Rossi (Procura di Ivrea) are in fact dealing with the negotiation for the assignment of the cleaning service of the Mater Olbia clinic.

The investigation concerns some conversations between the entrepreneur Massimo Cassinelli and the operating director of the Mater, Marco Salvagno . Cassinelli, owner of the Cm Service company, is perhaps the key figure in the Piedmontese maxi-investigation. There is talk of alleged anomalous relationships with various local health authorities in the Turin area and with public companies that managed the sale of hospitals.

There are a total of 14 suspects , the Olbian episodes have nothing to do with the events that took place in Turin and Ivrea. Salvagno (who was an officer of the Guardia di Finanza before becoming chief operating officer of the Mater) negotiated with Cassinelli the assignment of the Mater's cleaning service. The hypothesis of a crime challenged to the operating director of the clinic is the freedom of the charms .

According to the same investigations, however, Salvagno limited himself to negotiating, on the basis of his mandate as manager, a reduction in the costs of the service, to the benefit of the clinic affiliated with the Region and without any personal gain. Furthermore, Cm Service's offer was much better than the others . Mater's chief operating officer said he was confident in the outcome of the investigations and sure of a rapid clarification of the matter.
