" We currently have reserves that allow us to operate until the end of May, but beyond that date the situation remains uncertain . Refineries are demanding increasingly stringent planning from airlines: a clear sign of tensions in fuel supply."

This was stated by Gaetano Intrieri , CEO of Aeroitalia, speaking on Sky Tg24 on the subject of high fuel prices.

"In over thirty years of business, I've never seen suppliers require such detailed planning, a sign that even they don't have full visibility of available quantities. Beyond the speculative dynamics, we're also facing a serious imbalance in industrial processes."

"This situation," he continued, "has forced us to completely revise our budgets for 2026. Despite this, we are among the few airlines that have not canceled flights and we guarantee approximately 90% of Sardinia's territorial continuity, a commitment we feel carries great responsibility for . The need to identify appropriate solutions is clear. We are in contact with the Ministry of Transport, which is working on specific measures, but this is an issue that must also be addressed at the European level. We currently do not anticipate any cancellations: Aeroitalia has been a profitable company, and this allows us to address the current situation by leveraging available reserves."
