A technical table will be activated to resolve the problem of feral cattle and ungulates with which the residents of Pula, Villa San Pietro, Sarroch, Domus de Maria, Teulada and Masainas live.

In the summit convened in the prefecture - which was attended by the mayors of the countries concerned, the regional councilor for the environment Marco Porcu, the officials of Forestas, the health department, the Forestry Corps and the veterinary service of the local health authority - the desire to address the cattle and ungulate issue once and for all.

Walter Cabasino, mayor of Pula - a town that daily experiences first-hand the difficulties of living with a herd of around a hundred wild cattle, and an indefinite quantity of deer and fallow deer that now arrive in the town - is satisfied with the meeting: « After an in-depth and fruitful examination of the problems attributable to cattle, deer and fallow deer, councilor Porcu has made the commitment to convene a meeting in the department with all the representatives present at the last summit, with the aim of activating a technical table for solving the problem. Councilor Porcu has taken charge of coordinating the working group, to quickly find shared solutions with local administrations: we hope that this is the right step to address the problem of our countries once and for all."
