In Italy the occupancy rate of intensive care by Covid patients is now at 8%, only three regions exceed the 10% alert threshold and among these there is also ours.

They are Marche (11%), Sardinia (12%) and Lazio (13%).

The occupancy of places in non-critical area hospital wards is instead 17% and all regions or autonomous provinces exceed the alert threshold of 15%, except for Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Molise, Trento, Piedmont and Veneto.

These are the data from the Agenas monitoring, relating to February 27 and published today. In detail, compared to the previous day (February 26), the percentage of beds in intensive care occupied by patients with Covid-19 grows in Friuli Venezia Giulia (at 9%), Marche (11%) and Sardinia (12%) , while it decreases in 7 regions: Basilicata (1%), Calabria (9%), Emilia Romagna (8%), Lazio (13%), Liguria (9%), Puglia (7%), Umbria (7%). The employment rate of the intensive is instead stable in 11 regions and autonomous provinces: Abruzzo (7%), Campania (6%), Lombardy (5%), Molise (8%), Bolzano (3%), Trento (7%) ), Piedmont (6%), Sicily (9%), Tuscany (10%), Valle d'Aosta (9%) and Veneto (5%).

As regards the occupancy of beds in medical departments, the percentage drops in 11 regions: Basilicata (27%), Campania (17%), Emilia Romagna (15%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (16%), Lazio (22%), Lombardy (10%), Marche (20%), Trento (10%), Tuscany (16%), Valle d'Aosta (19%), Veneto (10%). The rate is instead stable in Abruzzo (28%), Calabria (25%), Liguria (19%), Molise (13%), Bolzano (14%), Piedmont (14%), Puglia (21%), Sardinia (21%) , Sicily (28%), Umbria (22%).
