Italy's bid to host the Einstein Telescope , the most powerful European observatory currently under construction, designed to listen for gravitational waves, "is the best possible choice for its scientific value and the economic well-being it will bring to the region. The Italian government and the Sardinia Region have already allocated all the necessary funds. Therefore, it won't be an isolated move that will jeopardize all this."
Thus, on Tg1, the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini , who is closely following what happened in Lula , where the cars of two researchers involved in the development of the research infrastructure were set on fire a few days ago .
