The favorable weather conditions of the Indian summer have favored the resumption of migrant landings in the Sulcis area.

With the Sardinian Channel clear of storms, 82 foreigners arrived in the south of the island in less than 24 hours. Some boats were intercepted before they landed in Sant'Antioco, while others landed on the beaches of Porto Pino in the Sant'Anna Arresi area.

Ten of those arriving in Sant'Antioco will be transferred to the canal port of Cagliari.

All will then be taken to the first reception centre in Monastir.
