In Turri the cables "crackle" with the rain
Many citizens have suffered damage to electrical equipment
All it takes is a rainy day, even a slight one, and in Turri , in Marmilla, there are problems in some stretches of the suspended electricity grid , especially in via Fiume and via Giulio Puddu.
The electric cables catch fire, smoke or crackle, effectively causing a dangerous situation to whoever is down there.
"Enel should evaluate, in the very short term, an extraordinary maintenance intervention on cables in poor condition", asks the mayor Martino Picchedda. The solution, according to the mayor, could be the burial of the same cables, considering the fact that in the streets affected by the faults there are recently built cable ducts .
Following the last gloomy episodes, many citizens have suffered damage to electrical equipment : they can now submit a request for compensation on the e-distribuzione website, according to the procedure illustrated in the institutional channels of the municipality.
