In the millenary forests of Fonni, crossing that earthly paradise of the exclusive oasis of Donnortei, a stone's throw from Monte Spada, you can, even today, come across gigantic stumps of holm oaks and oak blown up by explosives. The Italians, the French, the English were in a hurry. They had no time to waste with chainsaws to tear up the precious wood of those woods, which at that time did not even exist. Better a nice candle at the base of the plant. The multinational "criminal" work razed thousands of hectares of secular forests to the ground to make railway sleepers and make fire with which to melt the minerals. It was said then: you go to Sardinia to get wood. Today, in the land that once belonged to the Shardana, the Giants and the Nuragic warriors, the approach does not change. Instead of "making wood", today, one lands in the ancient land "to make" wind, sun and above all to collect a host of billionaire incentives. All public money, produced by the copious bills, including those of the Sardinians, destined to wedge themselves into the most disparate tunnels of world finance, the underground one, that, to be clear, of investment funds, inscrutable and well-informed, ready to seize the “Draft” of the Palace to guide the investments of “golden pensions” or financial investments, all aimed at multiplying incomes and high-level speculations on the wind and sun of others.

The lords of the 47

Yesterday as today, in this Island destined by history and by men to suffer once again the colonial shame of “wild” speculations, ready to do anything to grab immense horizons to squeeze into the sky, on land and in the sea. Here, everything and more happens, and not just looking at that list of 47 projects deposited in absolute silence in the computer rooms of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. All projects presented in the dim light of a state department that still denies official documents, those that for mere mortals must be published on the spot so as not to invalidate the procedure. Here, however, in the logic of "administrative silence", the lords of the wind and the sun have entrusted themselves to the most holy trappings of the PNRR, a sort of urbi et orbi "blessing" capable of accelerating "manu militare" every project presented for the indiscriminate invasion of Sardinia. It is in this enclave that the “mare magnum” of interests that revolve around this large-scale operation can be reconstructed. Environments where interests of all kinds are hidden, including those at risk of criminal infiltration, as the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate has put in black and white in the Sardinian chapter. In the overall picture it is difficult not to see a clear division of Sardinia, as if there were unspeakable relationships, consolidated ties between territories and society, between politicians and the lords of renewables. We limit ourselves to seeing companies that, lacking originality, have added to the primordial "srl" the progressive number of the all-Sardinian affaire . The companies are marked by the most eclectic names, all in a Sardinian key, just to try to mitigate the passport, most of the times foreign, and sometimes Sicilian, Apulian, Campania or South Tyrolean. If you are looking for a Sardinian company, with roots in the island, you won't even find it paying for it.

Foreigners of Shardana

All "foreigners", including those who cloak themselves with the name of "Shardana Energetica srl", ready to land in the lands of Villacidro, illegally recalling the ancient land of nuragic navigators, passing themselves off as Italians only in second place, with Italy Energy Holding. The documents in our possession, however, also in this case, say something else. The lords of “Shardana”, in fact, have deep roots and bank current accounts well anchored in Soborg, Denmark, at number 50 of Gyngemose Parkvej. They want to pretend to be ancient navigators, the reality is quite another. The project is to settle in the Country of Shadows, the current Villacidro, with a photovoltaic expanse of 51 megawatts, all to be placed in the most valuable agricultural lands which, obviously, in their agronomic relations are described as abandoned and useless. They, the Danes, do not care about Sardinian bans. The regulations on those areas, on the other hand, speak for themselves: "Are forbidden" transformations and uses other than agricultural ones of which the public economic and social relevance and the impossibility of alternative location is not proven ... ". It is they, in the armored project in the palaces of Rome, who declare that "the transformation of the agricultural use of the area is considered a work of public economic and social significance which justifies its realization" indeed, they add that "the related works and the infrastructures indispensable for the construction and operation of the same plants, are of public utility and cannot be postponed and urgent ». So, the Scandinavians of Denmark have already decided: that infinite expanse of solar panels is a work of public utility, indelible and even urgent, obviously to be done in someone else's house, with money drawn from the State incentives, the Italian one. The case of the gentlemen who came from the countries of the cold to make money under the Sardinian sun is only the first piece of a complex puzzle that reveals a great direction in the Roman palaces with hungry diners ready to dry up, euro after euro, an avalanche of money of State.

The occult map

The map of this Sardinian "sack" is enclosed in a web of companies, holding companies, dummies, share capital scattered in Chinese boxes, prosecutors and foreign affairs secreted in tax havens all over the world. Putting your hand to the hidden castle of renewable energy in Sardinia means dealing with a sea of 'escaping' serial transparency. Investments, most of the time, in the hands of unknown lords from beyond the Alps, landed on the island only to spin the slot machine of the sun, the wind and, above all, the billionaire incentives. Downstream of the Sa Spendula waterfalls , in Villacidro, the interests of Messrs Ernest, Thomas and Josef Gostner have been concentrated for years. Three brothers with a penchant for the Medio Campidano. Their holding, “Fri El. Spa”, in Villacidro did not limit itself to taking root. Despite the spotlights turned on more than once by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari, Sassari and even the Dda of Palermo on certain relations, they did not miss the appointment with the new colonizing wave.

Dolomites & Monte Linas

In the plan of the 47 projects, presented for the PNRR procedure, the Gostener's have planned a real further climb to the land of citrus and peaches, even aiming towards the Trexenta. They are the dominus of the first 4 projects in the ranking of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Nothing is missing: a 50 megawatt wind farm, “Nurradei”, with nine cyclopean generators to be placed between Samatzai, Guasila, Serrenti, Segariu, Furtei, Sanluri, Nuraminis and Pimentel; a wind farm, “Miali”, between Serrenti, Guasila, Segariu Pimentel, Furtei and Samatzai; a wind project, “Trexenta”, between Selegas, Segariu, Guasila and Guamaggiore. All presented by "Green Energy Sardegna 2", directly connected to the leader "Fri El". Operations that intersect, despite separate names and practices, in contiguous territories. A real invasion of two strategic areas of southern Sardinia, Villacidrese and Trexenta. To the Gostener brothers, however, the doors of the Medio Campidano and of the Region itself open without a shot being fired: together with the three wind farms, the lords of the wind have also deposited a mega photovoltaic system in the Rome offices called, according to the documents in our hands, “PV Villacidro 2”, a sort of name-revenge of the former. And that the gentlemen who came from the Dolomites to conquer the Campidano plains want to pass from "Sardinian roots" to "plinths" is also confirmed by the mega-project approved by the regional council to transform the historic battery factory, the former Scaini di Villacidro, into their headquarters. On 25 hectares of that old industrial structure they plan to occupy 20 with the beauty of 31,500 monocrystalline silicon panels for an estimated power of 20 megawatts.

Painters & climbers

The invasion of Southern Sardinia, however, does not stop with the inhabitants of Bolzano. Two other companies also contribute to the conquest of the lands and the aeolian peaks: Tintoretto srl and Tiziano srl. It is not a pictorial exhibition, but a series of companies, not yet codified by ministerial documents, but which could refer to a financial fund, certainly not Sardinian. Their projects, however, still target the Campidano, this time in the municipalities of Serramanna, Villasor and Samassi. Two other “sunny” expanses of peeled tomatoes and spiny artichokes, as if the agricultural future was made of silicon and shovels. The list of "47" also includes the "forced" one of Sorgenia, that project presented even before landing in Sanluri for a presentation with "good intentions" ended, however, with the discovery of the ministerial deposit of a barrage of projects at the unbeknownst to everyone. A name, that of Sorgenia, which is all a story. From De Benedetti, Carlo, the publisher who invented Repubblica, to F2i, a sort of "sovereign fund" that in Sardinia, with an evident political direction, wants to go shopping in large sweaters, from Cagliari airport to the Campidano wind . The Sorgenia project involves the construction of the “Samassi-Serrenti” wind farm, with 11 blades crashed into the proscenium of the hills and plains of the area. An electric potential of 66 megawatts. Certainly, also in this case, the approach with the Municipalities, impetuous and belated, was all political, with the role of "ambassador" of Sorgenia entrusted to none other than a top member of an opposition party in the Regional Council , but a staunch supporter of the Draghi government.

The Spaniards of Villasor

If Sorgenia travels swiftly through the party and state channels, she has preferred other routes “Iberdrola Renovables Italia”, a joint-stock company that has practically nothing in Italian. The annals describe it as the first wind producer in Spain with a weak, coincidentally, for Sardinia. From Bilbao, the headquarters of the Spanish multinational, to the plains of Villasor and Decimoputzu, where the King's subjects plan to drive another 10 cyclopean blades of two hundred meters and whistles directly into the sky already gnawed by supersonic jets and fighter jets. After all, now in Sardinia there is wind, sun and lots of money to be done.
