The 111 pupils from the primary and middle schools of Soleminis, forced to miss lessons for 10 days due to the unusability of the town's two school buildings, have finally returned to school. Since this morning, children and young people have been hosted in Serdiana in the school complex in via Eleonora d'Arborea.

The students arrived punctually for the ringing of the bell accompanied by their parents who will only have to take care of the transport for a few days. In fact, from 3 April the school bus service made available by the Municipality will be active, which has allocated 36,500 euros of its own funds on an extraordinary basis. Welcoming the children were the director of the Parteolla Comprehensive Institute Paolo Porcu, the mayors of Serdiana and Soleminis Maurizio Cuccu and Fedele La Delfa and the education councilor of Serdiana Federica Follesa. The students' stay in Serdiana will continue until June .

At least one of the two Soleminis complexes should be available again from September . The objective is to reopen the primary school in via Stazione in time for the start of the new school year where, in recent days, significant water infiltrations have been recorded. For the middle schools in via Sirios, longer times are expected due to the structural problems found in various parts of the building.
