In Sardinia 31 fires in a few hours: dozens of hectares of land in smoke

A Sunday in the name of emergencies for the fires - as many as 31 - that broke out in various locations in Sardinia .

The teams of the forestry corps are in action, but in 8 areas, given the extent of the flames, air vehicles also had to intervene .

The most challenging fronts in Luras and also in the Municipality of San Nicolò D'Arcidano , where five hectares of arable land and eucalyptus have gone up in smoke.

Alarm also Galtellì , where a fire covered an area of about 7,000 square meters of reeds and crops.

And then to Maracalagonis where the fire damaged about 10 hectares of scrub.

And again: emergency in Serrenti , where about 70 hectares of uncultivated land have gone up in smoke; in Nuxis, Sinnai, Ollolai and in the countryside of the Municipality of Nuoro , where the fire threatened about 2,000 square meters of agricultural areas.
