The students of the Primo Levi Institute of Quartu Sant'Elena have transformed their reflections on the theme of femicide into an exhibition in the school spaces. A concrete contribution of analysis and in-depth analysis so as not to forget a tragic phenomenon that also affects Sardinia where there have been 18 cases of feminicide in the last five years.

The young people, with the support of the teachers, implemented the educational project above all in order to sensitize their peers. An installation was set up in the two Commercial and Technological offices with texts that reproduce the stories of the victims . The writings were elaborated by the students taking inspiration from news articles selected by the teachers and then read in class.

The staging also shows the consequences of the intolerable abuses that are committed with photos of swollen body parts (lips, hands, eyes) and red shoes, a symbol of gender-based violence. A space is reserved for the initiative "How were you dressed?", an unacceptable but unfortunately recurring question, as if the dress worn could be the pretext for committing the violence . The students made video interviews with other young people who answered the question “ What is violence for you? ”.

In the school, on the occasion of the inauguration, some monologues by Silvia Plath and Rula Jabreal were read. Another precious moment of discussion. "Living means participating and not being indifferent to what happens", wrote Antonio Gramsci   on The future city on 11 February 1917. A very timely text, as demonstrated by the girls and boys of the Levi Institute.
