Ozieri, "A Life Together": the mural dedicated to Gigi Riva

Gigi Riva, a prominent player on the football pitch and a manager as he was in his later years, a legend embodied in a mural unveiled this morning in Ozieri, a work titled "A Life Together" by artist Mauro Patta, who was present along with Nicola Riva, son of the great champion and ambassador of the Rossoblù team. The ceremony was also attended by Mayor Marco Peralta and a delegation from Cagliari Calcio, as well as local authorities.
Also present were former Cagliari player Antonio Langella and goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, as well as the vice president of the regional council, Giuseppe Meloni, and regional councilor Aldo Salaris.
A large mural created in Via Roma Alta, in the Dazio area, which surprised and moved the large crowd , the story of a legend, of a man who chose to live in Sardinia, in a community that celebrated him for his footballing and human qualities.
The work was blessed with a fond tribute to the "gentleman of sport and life," represented by the two faces of the rossoblù number 11 player and the team manager . The project was sponsored by the Gruppo Cagliaritani Ozieresi and the "Inoghe Cultura e spettacolo Ozieri" association through a fundraiser.
