In prison eight months pregnant .

The woman has been in a cell at the Uta prison since Friday evening. This was announced by Maria Grazia Caligaris of the "Socialismo Rights Reforms" association , making a heartfelt appeal to the judge so that the woman "may be transferred to an adequate structure". As Caligaris observes, «the presence of the 32-year-old, of Romo nationality, arouses particular concern for the health conditions linked to the advanced state of pregnancy. The young woman, who has suffered some losses, has already been accompanied to the hospital twice.

For the exponent of Sdr, leaving aside the aspect of hygienic-sanitary conditions «we cannot forget that the gynecologist has been absent from the Prison for several months . In these days when the heat and sultriness reign supreme, staying in a cell is particularly heavy for a pregnant woman. We need a humanitarian act and to find an alternative accommodation that can combine the needs of the pregnant woman and those of safety. Such a delicate situation cannot be unloaded on prison».
