A white bench in memory of a young worker who died on the job. Four years after the tragedy, Salvatore Piras, the 22-year-old from Ossi who died in Sorso after being crushed by a pile of scaffolding while loading scaffolding frames onto a van, will be remembered in his hometown on Sunday, April 19th, with a ceremony.

On his 27th birthday, Salvatore's family, after celebrating mass at 10.30 am, will place a white bench in Piazza Sardegna dedicated to Salvatore and to all victims of work.

On the bench, an invitation to the people: "In memory of Salvatore, a sunny and free soul. Sit here and let a thought reach out to him."

So the family chose to pay tribute to him, in an event organized by the Barore412 association. The tragedy occurred in Sorso on April 15, 2022, in the yard outside a construction site.
