In the Refectory of Art, the works of six artists are on display to raise funds for the Mental Health Center of Olbia. The project, managed by the Omnia social promotion association, will serve to finance the purchase of material for the creation of a mural in the structure in Via Baronia, directed by Dr. Luisa Budroni.

“Intrecci”, this is the title of the exhibition, will host the works of Luca Secchi, Mozok, Lisa Fancello, B, Manuela Carboni and Andrea Agostino Dalias; the inauguration is scheduled for Monday 13 February at 5pm and the exhibition will be open until the following Friday, from 10.30am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7pm.

"It is a project that involves various institutions and professionals, because in the field of mental health the collaboration network is essential to achieve the objectives", underlines Dr. Emanuela Angioni, head of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Day Center of the Olbia CSM. «In this case the project has a double meaning: through the exhibition of works of art we want to create more art». A project that aims to redevelop a space in the Center with the aim of triggering a process in favor of the mental health of patients who will benefit from it, stimulate expressive capacity, enhance skills and develop various skills and self-esteem. «I thank the Municipality, the Omnia association, the municipal library, the artists and professional educators of the Day Center, the doctors Sara Bernardini and Sonia Sanna who worked for the realization of this project - Angioni commented - We hope that the works will be admired by many people, to give credit to the artists and raise the necessary funds».

The project is supported by the municipal administration: "Art is a way of expressing oneself, a language that unites us, a continuous source of inspiration for the artist and for his user - said the councilor for culture Sabrina Serra -. This is why an art exhibition is always an emotional experience and in this case it is even more so».
