Laerru will no longer be the red zone from Monday 18 October. The mayor Massimiliano Manca has, in fact, revoked the order signed last October 7 which established the lockdown due to a high number of infected with Coronavirus in relation to the number of inhabitants.

The decision also came after the municipality, in collaboration with the ATS, carried out a mass screening on the population, with 298 molecular swabs, which had resulted in other positive results for the virus.

There are currently 22 positives but, explains the mayor, “they are part of the same family unit and are therefore not expanding throughout the rest of the country. The contagion is limited and many of the positive ones are becoming negativized and it is very likely that in the next few days they will drop by a lot ". Four citizens are in quarantine.

The municipal administration of the center of Anglona has established the yellow zone: some restrictions remain, such as the use of the mask even outdoors, but the activities can reopen.

“We are happy to be able to reopen everything - adds the mayor -. These days in the red zone have been tough, especially for the businesses that have had to close and for the students ”.
