While the government's decision on the reopening of schools is awaited, the mayors of Sardinian municipalities proceed in no particular order. And someone has also established new restrictions such as in Desulo where a mini lockdown, including a curfew, has been set up until January 16.

The mayor Giovanni Cristian Melis has issued a provision which establishes the closure of schools until January 10, the suspension of teaching activities in presence up to and including 13, and the ban on leaving the house from 22 to 5 the following day, if not for reasons of urgency, work and health or for taking tobacco or other goods from vending machines.

For minors under 18 "it is forbidden to leave the house after 18, even individually, except for proven health needs or urgency". On the other hand, motor and sports activities are always permitted.

The bars must remain closed from 8 pm to 6 am the following day and in these establishments, as in commercial ones in general, it will be possible to access "exclusively with a surgical mask or type Ffp2, not worn out". Yes to the consumption of food and drinks in restaurants and pizzerias up to 11 pm and for a maximum of 4 people per table but the consumption of food outdoors is forbidden while take-away is always allowed.

All businesses that carry out personal service activities must include appointments for the public.
