The three days of civil and religious events linked to the patronal feast of San Giovanni Battista begin tomorrow in the village of Cannigione. Included in the summer program of the municipal administration, and organized by the patronal feast committee, there will be festivals, blood collection, regattas, folklore and lots of music (including bands, individual artists and DJs).

In particular, there is a free concert by the well-known artist Fausto Leali on Saturday 24 June at 10 pm at the Riva Azzurra Park, while the following day at the same time the comedian Giuseppe Masia will perform. All anticipated tomorrow, starting at 21, in via Nazionale, by the Notte Bianca, organized by the Asccr.

As for the religious moments, anticipated by the novenas, the solemn Mass is scheduled for Saturday 24 June at 7 pm, at the Riva Azzurra Park, which will be presided over by the bishop emeritus of Oristano, Ignazio Sanna. Before the mass there will be a procession through the streets of the village, with the statue of the patron saint being embarked on a nautical vehicle which, from the port, in a procession of boats, will sail in the waters of the gulf up to the islet of Zu Paulu, in La Conia .

Tomorrow, Friday, at 8pm, there will be the blessing of "Lu focu di Santu Gjuanni" and immediately after the festival of "Lu casgju furriatu" (melted cheese and honey).
