The man who, according to the charges, ran over Massimo Oggiano on Monday evening in Via Rockfeller , who later died from the serious injuries he sustained, turned himself in this morning in Sassari.
The man, a 58-year-old (born in 1968), had walked away after the incident, parking his motorbike on Via Principessa Mafalda di Savoia, and then disappeared in the following hours.
Today marks the turning point in the case the local police are investigating.
The man is being defended by lawyers Paolo Spano and Alessandra Rosa.
