Motorists are still experiencing disruption at the entrance to Cagliari . Work on Viale Sant'Avendrace, where workers are busy laying new asphalt, is causing traffic delays. Traffic is being divided into alternating lanes to allow vehicles to continue work, and this is causing traffic jams.

Problems were further exacerbated by an accident on Viale Elmas , a short walk from the Piazza Sant'Avendrace roundabout, involving a scooter and a car. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and assigned a yellow code. On the other side of the city, a rear-end collision on the median caused traffic jams and delays.

And today is also the opening day of a new roundabout on the harbor front, precisely on Viale La Playa.
