The protests by students at the Alberti high school in Cagliari continue, with another student demonstration scheduled for this morning, from 8:15 to 10:00, to "draw attention to the conditions of the main building on Viale Colombo and the need for concrete and timely interventions.
"In light of what emerged during the Metropolitan Council meeting in the last few hours," the students point out, " we believe that concrete and satisfactory answers have not yet been received regarding the structural interventions necessary for our school buildings."
Young people, in particular, complain about "uncertain timing for renovations," specifying that "no clear and satisfactory answers have been provided on the issue, nor has a precise timeline been established." Regarding the problems related to the Viale Colombo and Via Koch offices, they specify that "no full response has been received" and "no concrete commitments have been made."
The students are therefore asking the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and the Region of Sardinia "to identify the resources necessary for the renovation of the building and the recovery of the five unusable classrooms."
The demonstration will be held in the pine forest adjacent to the headquarters on Viale Colombo, with the hope that a similar event organized yesterday will not be repeated, when students from other schools showed up, creating a tense atmosphere that threatened to escalate into firecrackers and egg-throwing.
