The traditional wooden houses, the lights and decorations, the food and wine, the crafts, and the entertainment: the traditional Christmas markets bring the magic of Christmas back to Cagliari.

The opening of the village in the city center, scheduled for December 1st, is now one of the most anticipated events in the city: now in its ninth year, the initiative offers a rich and updated calendar this year with activities for all ages.

"The Christmas Markets have become a tradition for the city," emphasized Carlo Serra, Councilor for Economic Development and Productive Sectors, and Maria Francesca Chiappe, Councilor for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, during the presentation. "They are an opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays together: a highly anticipated event, a major draw for the residents of Cagliari, as well as for those visiting and frequenting the city during this time of year. Not only are they an opportunity for commerce, but also a time for meeting and sharing in the true Christmas spirit: we hope to make this event richer and more popular each year."
