The condition of the 17-year-old girl who was hit by a migrant boat in Su Giudeu has improved. She has been released from the intensive care unit .

A positive note in an episode that could have had much worse consequences, now witnessed in a video circulating on social media that confirms the version given to L'Unione Sarda by the girl's friend , a sixteen-year-old who was with her in the water and managed to move out of the way just in time to avoid being overwhelmed by the boat.

The footage shot by swimmers shows the terror unfolding live. The white boat appears among the boats stopped about 200 meters from the beach, traveling at full speed, almost crushing the buoy as it passes. A swimmer disappears under the boat, only to reappear shortly afterward. Two arms emerge from the water and wave to attract the attention of someone who could come to help. Then the boat stops . What's not seen is the subsequent escape, but everything happened exactly as the sixteen-year-old had described, the first to rescue his friend, rescuing her before she sank.
