A fisherman who, despite the ban, had already collected around 150 sea urchins was surprised today in Capitana by Forestry Corps agents.

The patrol of the Cagliari naval base seized the hedgehogs and released them back into the sea because they were still alive. The disputed fine amounts to 1,000 euros.

«As is known - they explain from the Forestry - the stock of hedgehogs is in very serious trouble, so much so that it has led to the current block on withdrawals».
