Serious accident on the 131, at the Cossoine junction, in the Bonorva area. A milk transport truck collided with a car traveling towards Sassari.
A violent impact that caused two injuries, husband and wife traveling aboard a Fiat Multipla. The most serious is the driver of the car, a 77-year-old man, transferred in code red with the air ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital in Sassari.
He is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit . His condition would be very serious. His 73-year-old wife, after the initial treatment received by the 118 health workers, was transported to the emergency room for diagnostic tests . Three ambulances were on site, one of which was medical.
The dynamics of the incident are still uncertain from the first reconstructions: it is certain, however, that the worst was the occupant of the vehicle that suffered the impact following which the rear of the vehicle was practically destroyed.
