A single doctor to guarantee palliative care to six terminally ill patients hospitalized in the Oristano Hospice and to over one hundred in integrated home care.

This was reported by the M5S regional councilor Alessandro Solinas, who presented a question to the president of the Region and the councilor Nieddu to ask for the immediate strengthening of the staff.

"The mismanagement of health care at the regional level also affects the Hospice of Oristano, today in serious difficulty", explains Solinas, defining the working conditions for the anesthetist Giuseppe Obinu as "unacceptable" since his only colleague had to be absent.
“It is not acceptable - he continues - that a doctor cannot be absent because the system is daily on the verge of collapse with serious repercussions for patients, hospitalized and otherwise. Pain therapies cannot be denied to patients in any way, guaranteeing relief is a duty of the institutions ".
