Horse jumps on the cycle path and overwhelms the cyclist: fear at Poetto

Fear yesterday in Cagliari, on the Poetto seafront, when a horse, after passing the beach, launched itself towards the cycle path, overwhelming a 42-year-old from Cagliari who was cycling the track.

Following the collision, the cyclist suffered some injuries that required rescue and transport, in yellow code, to the emergency room of the Policlinico di Monserrato for investigations.

The horse was then recovered by the owner's son.

The carabinieri were also on site.
